Big Mountain Golf Course

Welcome to Big Mountain Golf Club, formerly Northern Pines!

Two time US Open Champion Andy North has created the jewel of the Flathead Valley when he built Big Mountain Golf Club in 1996.

A unique use of two distinctly different types of land enabled him to journey from rolling Scottish on the front nine to the elevation changes of the seminally serene back nine. At 7100 yards from the tips to 5800 yards from the front tees this course changes personalities in many different ways.

The course is truly unique to the Big Sky state, from the rolling waves of native grasses surrounding a golf challenge that will intrigue your senses, to the experience that resembles a quiet walk along a peaceful river of the back nine.

As Andy himself puts it, "If I was leading the US Open by 1 stroke going into the last 5 holes it would be tough to par in."

There are a thousand reasons to visit Montana's Flathead Valley, and with its full service golf shop, outstanding practice facility, deli service, and friendly staff, Big Mountain Golf Club is one you will not want to miss!
