FOURTEEN GOLF WEDGES PLAYED TO CAPTURE TWO PGA TOUR VICTORIES IN TWO WEEKS -- THE WYNDHAM CHAMPIONSHIP AND THE BARCLAYS

IRVINE, CA – August 31, 2010 – FOURTEEN GOLF, recognized as a worldwide leader in wedge design and a known favorite amongst top touring golf professionals, announced today that within the last two weeks FOURTEEN GOLF wedges have been used to secure two PGA Tour victories.

Last week, FOURTEEN GOLF celebrated its ninth professional tour victory of the 2010 season with a win at the Wyndham Championship and this week’s win at the Barclays Championship take the total to TEN.

The winner and FOURTEEN GOLF supporter put together the best season of his career. His four consecutive rounds in the sixties helped him win the Barclays Championship and vaulted him in the 2010 Fed Ex Cup Playoff point standings.

According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, “Last week FOURTEEN GOLF and its wedges helped a professional golfer reach his dream of winning a PGA Tour event. This week, the Barclays Champion trusted his MT-28 V5 Wedge and Hi Type 3 #4 Iron to earn his third PGA Tour victory of his career and lead the PGA Tour in the most Top-10s of the 2010 PGA Tour season. We are proud to be part of his success.”

The classically designed MT-28 V5 Wedge features the signature FOURTEEN “reverse taper design” but has been improved by adding a groove strategically located in between the club sole and blade portion of the wedge.

This structural change allowed the engineers to move the CG to a higher more stabilizing position for more precise shots.

The sole of the MT-28 V5 possesses a flatter shape with a trailing edge and heel relief. This new dynamic combination allows any player to fully utilize the club’s bounce and execute pure or solid shots out of any type of rough.

The MT-28 V5 boasts a rounded leading edge that promotes confidence at address and its clubface has been engineered so that the player can easily open or close the face. The head is manufactured with a Nickel chrome moliben alloy which conforms to the 2010 USGA club regulations. It is available in both a chrome and non-plated black finish.

In preparation for the new groove policy on the professional tours such as the PGA and LPGA, the company spent years engineering a new trapezoidal shaped groove for the MT-28 V5 Wedge. This distinctively sharp-edged trapezoidal groove also undergoes a mirror-face milling process which precisely and carefully mills each groove for optimal spin.

The professionally designed MT-28 V5 comes in a variety of lofts, a 48, 50, 52, 54, 56 (2), 58 (2) and a 60 degree. Two steel shafts, a Dynamic Golf and NS Pro 950GH are available. A proprietary rubber grips finishes these classic wedges.

“The MT V5 Wedge received an amazing amount of media coverage at the Barclays Championship. The Konica Minolta Swing Vision Camera captured the FOURTEEN GOLF wedge right at impact, repeatedly. Its signature ‘reverse taper’ stands out on camera. It means so much to a boutique company like ours to receive this type of coverage and support,” adds Kamoda.

FOURTEEN GOLF is a boutique or burgeoning golf equipment company that takes great pride in its tour programs. The company has tour representation throughout the world and as the world watched the Barclays Championship, two LPGA Professionals played FOURTEEN GOLF equipment at the CN Canadian Women’s Open to claim Top-10 finishes, taking the 2010 Top-10 Finish List to a record 64.

Nike Golf Athlete Michelle Wie Wins Second LPGA Title – Touts Ball Striking and Putting as Key

BEAVERTON, OR (August 30, 2010) - The phenomenal talent of Michelle Wie came shining through at the LPGA’s CN Canadian Women’s Open. The 20-year-old Nike athlete captured her second LPGA career title by leading the tournament from start to finish and ultimately winning by a three-stroke margin.

One of the highlights of her week was in the first round when she made the second ace of her career on the par-3 181-yard 11th hole, where she hit a Nike VR Blade 5-iron. This propelled her to 5-under-par for the tournament and gave her the solo lead. According to Wie, the key to her win was in her ball striking and her putting. On the back nine in the final round, Wie made three consecutive birdies using Nike’s Method putter.

“I made a lot of putts, but at the same time I made a lot of really crucial putts,” said Wie. “And you know, I think it was my ball striking that really kept me above water today.”
During the week, Wie averaged 290-yard drives with her Nike VR Tour driver and maintains the highest ranking in the LPGA Tour’s driving average category with the winning combination of her driver and Nike ONE Tour ball. Fellow Nike athlete Suzann Pettersen, who also has a full bag of Nike arsenal, including the VR STR8-FIT driver, VR Split Cavity irons and the Method putter, finished tied for second in the event which she won last year.

RIFE Putters announced today that they'll be releasing four new highly anticipated Island Series putters this Fall.

The Aruba, Trinidad, Montserrat, and Cayman Brac are the latest introductions in RIFE's successful Island Series of putters.

These four Island Series models were first introduced in January at the 2010 PGA Merchandise Show, but are now in production and will be available in stores in the next 30 to 60 days. All of these new Island Series putters feature RIFE's patented RollGrooveTechnology and Lie-Aline System.

RIFE Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.

PING S56 Irons Win Again

New PING S56 irons continue winning ways on PGA Tour

August 24, 2010; Phoenix, Arizona: A win at the Wyndham Championship on the PGA Tour is the fifth worldwide victory in seven weeks for the new PING® S56™ irons, PING Chairman & CEO John Solheim announced today.

It marked the S56’s fourth title since being used by Louis Oosthuizen to win last month’s British Open. Since its introduction on the various tours around the world, more than 20 players have switched to the new irons. In five of the last six PGA Tour events, it has been PING’s most-used model.

“The S56 iron is off to a remarkable start,” said Solheim. “To have this many wins, including a major championship, so soon after its introduction is the ultimate in product validation. It has really caught on with the players and continues to do so as other players witness the success it’s having. We’re seeing a steady transition to the S56 irons from a lot of players around the world.”

The players-style iron was introduced at the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, where three players put it in play immediately, including PING pro Gregory Havret, who finished runner-up, one shot off the winning score. Two weeks later at the Alstom Open de France, PING pro Miguel Angel Jimenez earned the distinction of being the first player to win with the new S56 irons.

Following Oosthuizen’s major victory at St. Andrews, PING pros Hunter Mahan and Bill Lunde relied on the new irons to sweep a pair of PGA Tour events on the same weekend, with wins at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and the Turning Stone Resort Championship, respectively.

The blade-style iron features a 17-4 stainless steel body with variable tungsten toe weighting to optimize the center of gravity in each iron for added control. Stabilizing bars in each iron vary in width to improve overall performance and versatility. They are narrower in the long irons for faster ball speeds and wider in the mid- and short-irons to generate more penetrating and controlled trajectories.

The S56 irons (3-9, PW) will be available at golf shops worldwide in mid-September.

Nike Golf Adds Two More Young Athletes to its Roster Bringing to Four the Number of New Signings in Three Months

BEAVERTON, Ore. (August 24, 2010)– Nike Golf has added two more exciting young rising stars to its talented roster in Europe with the multi-year contract signings of 20-year-old Matt Haines and 19-year-old Tommy Fleetwood.

These Nike Golf athlete additions come on the heels of two other signings of young collegiate stars who have chosen to represent Nike Golf – Canadian Matt Hill, who competed at North Carolina State, and Dustin Garza, who played at Wichita State. In just three months, Nike Golf has added four new young athletes to its roster.

Haines and Fleetwood, who were teammates on the 2009 Great Britain and Ireland Walker Cup team, both hail from England. Haines is from Chatham in Southeast England and Fleetwood comes from Lancashire in Northwest England. Both players will be head-to-toe Nike athletes playing with Nike Golf equipment, balls, apparel and footwear.

Haines enjoyed an illustrious amateur career having won eight major events including the 2008 Lytham Trophy and the 2010 Spanish Amateur Championship, which propelled him to fourth in the World Amateur Rankings. After turning professional in May of this year, Haines quickly made his mark on the Challenge Tour. Already, he’s ranked ninth on the money and has four top 10 finishes in nine starts.

”I am excited about starting my professional career with a brand as big as Nike Golf,” said Haines. “I know that the team there will work with me to give me the very best equipment and support to help me make the transition from amateur to professional successful. I’m impressed by the knowledge and the passion that goes into how they develop products.”

Haines will be playing with the new Nike VR driver, Nike VR fairway woods, Nike VR split cavity irons, Nike Method putter, Nike ONE Tour ball, Nike Golf footwear and apparel, Nike glove and Nike staff bag.

Fleetwood won the English Amateur Championship last month as well as secured runner-up finishes in both the New South Wales Amateur and the Spanish Amateur, which was won by Haines.

Fleetwood already has had some very respectable performances on the pro circuit. In July, he finished second on the Challenge Tour’s English Challenge and he also won a qualifying event to earn him a place in the elite field for the French Open in Paris.

“I’m happy as can be with everything and I can’t wait to get cracking,” said Fleetwood. “Nike has been a big part of my success as an amateur and knowing that I have the best equipment in my bag going into my professional career is a great head start.”

Fleetwood’s Nike arsenal will include the Nike VR driver, Nike fairway woods and the Nike VR split cavity irons. He will be playing with Nike’s ONE Tour ball and he will wear Nike Golf apparel and footwear. He also will wear a Nike glove and hat and will use a Nike staff bag.

Hanson, who played the Burner SuperFast and Penta TP, moved up to eighth place in the Ryder Cup rankings with just one event remaining before qualifiers are finalized. The Swede’s victory was fueled by remarkably consistent driving, as he finished second in driving accuracy (76.8%) and 16th in driving distance (306.5).
The three wins increase TaylorMade's worldwide driver win total to 39 in 2010 – more than any other brand.
Just go out there and try and win it,” Atwal said. “Guys are going to be out there trying to secure their FedEx Cup spots or whatever. We've got nothing. I don't have a card. I don't have anything. Just go out there and free-wheel it, and that's what I did this week."

A year of major success on Tour for PING

August 19, 2010; Phoenix, Arizona: A victory at the British Open Championship and three solo second-place finishes at The Masters, U.S. Open and PGA Championship by PING professionals is unprecedented in the company’s 51-year history, PING Chairman and CEO John Solheim announced today.

“To win one major and have someone contend in the other three until the very end was history-making for our company,” said Solheim, who attended three of the four majors this year. “On top of that, it was four different players, which speaks to the quality and strength of our worldwide staff. Most of us at PING spent a lot of time in front of the TV and on the internet following the PING staff during this year’s majors. It was very exciting and beneficial for the PING brand.”

In addition to a 1-2 finish at the British Open by Louis Oosthuizen and Lee Westwood, respectively, Westwood finished second at The Masters. Gregory Havret was runner-up at the U.S. Open and Bubba Watson lost a three-hole playoff at the PGA Championship.

Both the British Open and PGA Championship were won with PING® putters to give the company 52 major putter wins in its history.

Darrell Survey, which tracks television time for the major championships and the PGA Tour events, reports PING finished with more than six hours of brand exposure during the four major championships – second of any company and nearly twice the third-place brand.

The year has also seen the continued rise of Hunter Mahan and Watson on the PGA Tour. Mahan, with two victories, including the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, currently ranks 12th in the world. The long-hitting Watson earned his first career victory at the Travelers Championship in June and sits at 26th in the world rankings. Both earned spots on the Ryder Cup team and are in the top 10 of the FedEx Cup standings.

Led by Westwood, the third-ranked player in the world, PING’s European Tour staff continues to perform at the highest level with multiple wins this season, including two by Miguel Angel Jimenez. Oosthuizen broke through for his first European Tour victory at the Open de Andalucia de Golf before his dominating performance at St. Andrews. Rookie Rhys Davies won the Trophee Hassan II and has three second-place finishes for the year.

Second major PING® putter win of year marks 52nd in company history

August 18, 2010; Phoenix, Arizona: With its second major putter win of the year at last week’s PGA Championship, PING has now captured 52 majors in its 51-year history, PING Chairman & CEO John Solheim announced today.

The winning putter was an Anser®2 model from the Karsten® Series, the first major title for this stainless steel putter. It was the second-consecutive major win for a PING® putter. Last month’s British Open Championship was won with a Redwood® Anser® model.

“PING putters have a long tradition of winning major championships,” said Solheim. “I remember the first major win back in 1969 at The Masters. It was a very significant event for us as the Anser was just making a name for itself. Now, all these years later, wins of this magnitude are still very important. We’re extremely pleased to have two major putter wins this year. Both champions will be receiving solid-gold putter heads of their winning models as lasting memories of their victories.”

That first win at the 1969 Masters helped propel the PING® Anser® putter – only two years on the market at the time – to its current status as the winningest putter model in golf, with more than 400 wins to its credit, including 17 majors. Since then, nine more Masters champions have relied on a PING® putter, including Angel Cabrera, the 2009 winner who used an i-Series® ½ Craz-E® B.

The British Open Championship, with 17 wins since 1969, leads the four majors in PING® putter wins. Its most recent title is this year’s, in which PING Pro Louis Oosthuizen and his Redwood® Anser® model dominated the field with a seven-stroke victory. The PGA Championship follows with 14 victories since a PING® putter was used to win the 1981 edition. After first winning in 1970, eleven U.S. Open champions, including PING pro Cabrera in 2007, have relied on PING putters.

In 1988, PING® putters were used to win all four major championships – the only putter brand to accomplish that feat in modern history.
