Pricing Rounds, Lessons and Merchandise; Using Social Media for Profits; Increasing Teaching Revenue and More

Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. – The PGA Merchandise Show Education Conference has been redesigned to empower those in the golf industry to "re-set" the way they do business and make themselves and their business more valuable. New topics include "How to Price Rounds, Lessons and Merchandise in the New Golf Economy;" "How to Use You-Tube, LinkedIn and Twitter to Drive Profits;" "Creating Five-Star Customer Service" and more. This year’s 65-plus seminars, January 28-30, in Orlando, Fla., will focus on building expertise and profit across all sectors of golf in 2010. Thousands of PGA Professionals and golf executives are expected to attend the comprehensive education conference presented by the industry’s foremost experts in instruction, management, retail and, now, business categories such as social media, new technology and environmental issues that are influencing the business of the game.

The education conference is organized in partnership with The PGA of America, the Association of Golf Merchandisers and respected industry leaders from topical business sectors. Seminars will be offered from 8:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the Orange County Convention Center each Show day.

PGA Professionals will receive 1 MSR Credit per class attended and can earn more than 20 MSR Credits through their additional participation in the Outdoor Demo Day, Product Preview and Buyers’ Reception, PGA Merchandise Show, and PGA Members Town Hall.

Industry professionals may view the complete calendar of education seminars and register to attend the PGA Merchandise Show education conference at www.pgashow.com. A full conference pass including unlimited seminars throughout the conference, all course materials and admission to the exhibit hall is available to PGA members for $395 and to non-PGA members for $450. A single day pass including unlimited seminars, course materials throughout the day of your choice and admission to the exhibit hall is available to PGA members and non-PGA members for $275.
